Christmas Cookie Swap at St. Stephen's (Sweetwater) and All Saints (Colorado City)

On December 6th, St. Stephen's, Sweetwater, and All Saints, Colorado City, participated in their monthly potluck and program. The line-up for December's monthly gathering differed slightly from previous months. There was no official program; instead, Fr. Bryan talked to the kids about St. Nicolas and the traditions revolving around his feast day, such as people imitating St. Nicolas and kids leaving their shoes out. After the talk, the kids put their shoes outside just in case someone was imitating St. Nicolas and came by the Church. Surprise! By the night's end, little gifts and treats were in everyone's shoes. The potluck was a theme of appetizers and a cookie swap. All shared their favorite appetizers and Christmas cookies. No one was left hungry or empty-handed.

Along with St. Nick, food, and cookies, everyone wore their favorite Christmas sweaters. The featured photograph is of the two awesome kiddos with the best sweater of the night!
