Summer 2024 Canterbury Update

On June 7 and 8, Canterbury held our annual garage sale, and we raised $2300 to be used for Canterbury programs and events. We are so grateful to the parishioners from St. Christopher's, St. Paul's, and St. Stephen's who donated items to our garage sale and who made this event a success! In addition to raising money, these garage sales also afford our students the opportunity to cheaply buy or receive items to help set them on a path of success as they begin their adult lives. The garage sale this year helped provide two students who did not have beds with mattresses. Additionally, two students were provided with a bed frame, one student was given a kitchen table and chairs, one student received a sofa and coffee tables, one student took home a desk, two students took home TVs, and one student even took home a laptop computer. These resources make a world of difference for these students, and we are all so grateful for the positive impact that you all make in the lives of our students.
